What type of software will I need to use My Accounting Cloud QuickBooks hosting service?
You will need Windows XP with SP3, Windows Vista with SP1 or Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 6.0 or greater with Active X controls enabled.
Which versions of QuickBooks are supported?
We offer all versions of QuickBooks, 2006 through 2010 including Pro, Premier, and Enterprise Editions. If using an older edition of QuickBooks, just provide us the install disks and we can easily upload it onto our servers for hosting.
Is my data secure? Is the system secure?
Yes, My Accounting Cloud adheres to the same security standards and encryption used in financial industries, so you can feel assured your critical financial data is safe. We provide you with password-protected secure login access, so only you can login into your QuickBooks account. My Accounting Cloud performs automated nightly snapshots and weekly backup service to tapes that are then stored offsite.
How many company files can I use from within the system?
Each My Accounting Cloud QuickBooks hosting account includes space for 50 company files. Capacity for more files can be added for $10 each additional group of 50 company files.
Which features of QuickBooks will I be able to use?
Our service allows you to use all the functions of QuickBooks, just as if you installed QuickBooks on your computer.
Can we perform payroll updates through your QuickBooks hosting service?
Yes, however, you will need to purchase this upgrade through Intuit separately.
Can the system be accessed by more than one user at the same time?
Yes, it can handle up to 5 concurrent users with QuickBooks Pro or Premier and up to 25 concurrent users with QuickBooks Enterprise; however, each user must have a license.
Will I be able to print from QuickBooks when I use your service?
Yes, you and your client will be able to print from the My Accounting Cloud Virtual Desktop; it supports all types of printers.
Does My Accounting Cloud require any 3rd Party software in order to print from QuickBooks?
No. Printing your invoices is as easy as printing directly from your desktop. My Accounting Cloud automatically recognizes any printers you have connected to your machine or network saving you the hassle from working with 3rd Party printing software.
Can I create my own PDFs from QuickBooks?
Yes, you can generate and email PDFs directly from the QuickBooks software. This is a function provided by the software itself.
Will My Accounting Cloud work on my Mac
Yes, every new Mac lets you install Windows and run it at native speeds, using a built in utility called Boot Camp. Alternatively, by using emulation software such as VMware Fusion or Parallels Desktop, you can run Windows in a virtual environment without having to reboot your Mac. You must own a copy of Windows XP with SP3 , Vista SP1 or Windows 7.
As a Finance Professional, are my clients limited in access only their own data?
Yes, because you control the level of access, you can see each client's data, while they can only see their own. Each client will have his or her own unique login and password.
I am a finance professional that manages my clients financial records with my own QuickBooks- will I require any additional licenses to service each of their accounts?
